Building Good Habits

First grade students spent the week practicing good habits in the classroom. We are learning to get along and work in an open environment. We are spending time  practicing the expectations and routines at Captain so we can zoom in and focus our learning. 

Also, we are learning about and practicing Good Reading Habits. We are choosing Just Right Books and reading the whole time. Just Right Books are books that students can read most of the words, understand the story and able to retell the story.
